A touring rugby club connecting expats and giving the best unsigned players, as well as talented players from rugby's smaller nations, the chance to tour and compete in an elite environment.
FOUNDED IN 2016
THE BEGINNING
Founded by Chichester RFC teammates Jonathan Brown from Australia and Joseph Shopland from the UK, PAC made its debut at the Saigon 10s in September 2016. A club built for players who couldn't commit to domestic club competition due to work commitments but still wanted to stay connected to the game.
ASIAN TOURING ERA
EARLY SUCESS
PAC BAABAAS dominated the Asian touring circuit and merged with the Singapore Barbarians in 2018 to form two division; PAC Social and the elite PAC BAABAAS. Titles in Saigon, Bangkok and Phuket proved we could compete and win anywhere; blending expats from across Asia with talented club players from Australia.
Media Legacy
MEDIA PLATFORM
In 2020, PAC grew into a platform built around the players. By putting the characters and talent of the game in front of a global audience, we showed a side of rugby the broadcast version rarely captures: the humour, the personalities and the culture that make the game what it is. A few thousand followers became a community of more than 100,000 across every channel.
Where We Are Now
Elite Touring
In 2026, the club's purpose comes into sharper focus. PAC has always been the touring side for expats and Australian club players. Now, with bases across Europe, the UK and the United States, our focus is on connecting expats wherever they land and giving talented young players from rugby's smaller nations the opportunity to tour.
