OUR VISION
The Nines Premier League (9PL) is the biggest invitational rugby league tournament in the World amassing over 40,000 live stream viewers last year on YouTube but will now be televised LIVE on Kayo Sports in January 2025. The tournament is held in Tugan, on Queensland’s Gold Coast, with 16 Elite men’s invitational teams battling it out for the Championship trophy and $30k winner’s purse.
The PAC BaaBaas have been invited to compete in the 9PL tournament in January 2025. Our management team have already started tour preparations and building the squad to make sure we put ourselves in the best position to win the tournament.
Although the 9PL is a rugby league competition, we strongly believe that we have the talent in Australian rugby union to gather a squad of current unsigned clubland players from the Shute Shield and Queensland Premier Rugby competitions, along with a handful of former professionals to challenge our rugby league counterparts for the 9PL Championship trophy.
We have the unique ability to use our media platform, exposure and influence in the rugby community to build the profile of our team and partners. Like we did at the Hong Kong FC 10s, we will be documenting the PAC BaaBaas’ journey leading up to and during the tournament releasing a YouTube mini documentary series.
